FORUMS
The BDN website provides a variety of forums that include:
Open forums: All Registered Users can contribute comments and all posts can be viewed by visitors.
Restricted forums: Access is tailored in line with the specific purpose of the forum eg. Consultation with Member Representatives or BDN Steering Group etc.
To comment on active forum topics you must be a Registered User:
- Click on Forums in the right hand column of the Home page
- Click on the forum topic you want to comment on
- Click on 'Add new comment'
- Type into the 'Subject' and 'Comment' boxes under 'Reply'
- Click on 'Preview' to read over and edit your comment as needed
- Click on 'Save' to post your comment on the forum topic.
To create a new forum topic you must be a Member Representative:
- Click on Create content in the righthand column of the Home page
- Click on Forum topic
- Type into the 'Subject' of the new forum topic
- Click on the dropdown menu of the 'Forums' box and choose the forum catergory
- Type your stimulating introductory comment into the 'Body' box provided
- Click on 'Preview' to edit and polish
- Click on 'Save' to launch your topic
